Last several trips my Verizon phone did not work in USVI , with most recent visit in March this year.
Not a big deal as could use wife’s att phone.
I contacted Verizon about international calling plan last week, they advise my phone will work fine is USVI....
Can anyone please confirm? Will be there later this month.
Thanks

Verizon worked pretty well during our brief time in July on STT going to and from planes. However an unlocked phone with an AT&T SIM card seemed to work better. I'm told Verizon phones are unlocked now, but didn't try that out since I had another unlocked phone.

Verizon worked fine for us at end-Oct., and we use their $10/day int'l plan in the BVI. Only places I have sketchy service is south shore of St John tucked into Lameshur Bay and Salt Pond Bay.

Unless things have changed recently STT is not in network for Verizon and you will have to select and pay for a international plan. If you don’t the roaming bill you get may cause heart failure! G
edit: The USVI is now in network for Verizon.
