Week on Jost staying in the Glass House. Our oldest son and daughter in law own it. Been a lurker here for 5+ years as we did a crewed catamaran charter in Nov 2013. Whole family gets to go this trip including grandkids❤️ Really looking forward to a relaxing week with maybe just a wee bit of rum thrown in the mix! We’re doing the Necker Island tour on Tuesday. I’ve had medical issues the past 16 months so it will really be a getaway for me! If you see anyone with a UK Wildcat clothing that’s probably part of our group!

Wow! You are a lucky dad! Glass House is amazing at least the pictures online.
Would love to take my kids, their wives and grandkids and stay there some time. Please post pics!

Wow! What a beautiful villa! With all that glass, did they have any damage from the BIG hurricane last Sept?

They had very little damage as construction was still ongoing. It was finally finished in late February/early March

That's great, JVD was pretty much demolished. I have a son but his house doesn't look anything like your sons'. Enjoy your vacation!

We did Gumption's Necker tour yesterday. Great experience. Fair amount of walking (my wife made it... she had both Knees Replaced this year, last one in July. ) Flamingos were awesome.

On Gumption’s Necker tour were you allowed in the lemur enclosure to feed them or were you outside of it? When we were there in July with our grandchildren we were able to feed the lemurs while they were perched on our shoulders, but the website now says you must feed them through the net. Trying to set expectations for our upcoming trip...

Go UK, beat dem Dawgs. (I’ll be at the Swamp)
It’s nice to have successful kids
JPH I spent my money on booze, broads, and boats...the rest I wasted.

We did the Necker tour yesterday. You still can go inside the enclosure to feed the lemurs.

Last week, we went inside enclosure with Gumption and Charlie. Great experience for kids and adults alike. Don't forget to print off forms (but if already in BVI, Gumption MAY have copies, if you email him).
Enjoy!
