Hi all, does anyone know what's up with Moulin Fou? We've been here for a week now and it's been closed. I thought I read here sometime last month that they were open. Did they close for the month or something else?

I certainly hope that they are open! I was counting on going there tomorrow night for my b-day dinner.

I know they do not open until 5pm right now. Have you tried calling?
Tel: +1 721 545 5777

I'm going to try calling later today.

Yes, nothing really to report that they're closed or anything. We even drove by around 5 yesterday to see if there was a sign on the door or anything, nothing. I heard from another site, that they're on vacation. The question is, how long?

BTW, I just met you. I'm Mike from Villa 12 at BSV.

HEY Neighbor! lol....so funny. I love TTOL. We are gonna head out to eat at Zee Best and then either lounge here or at El Zafiro today.

Couldn't find any info on Moulin's FB page or anywhere about a seasonal closing. We will see if my inquiry is answered.

Question if they are closed is, where to have that SPECIAL dinner without driving at night to the french side. frown

Mike and others went to Mario's last night in Porto Cupecoy. I'm sure Mike can elaborate more. I know they enjoyed it.

Have dinner at Crave maybe? Service is among the best. On Welfare road right beside Bavaria! The food is good, but not your normal fare, mideast?

Mike, let me know your impressions of Mario’s, and whether they are accepting credit cards again, as for a while they did not.

Crave seems to be gone. Everything outside is gone, Sign is gone and I saw no notice on the door.

We went to Mario's on Saturday night. They only have a prix-fixe menu, app, main course and dessert for $38. I believe Bobby told me that the regular menu will be back November 1st. There are plenty of great choices on the. The food was all that we've come to expect at Mario's. We were a group of 11, all of us from BSV. They were accepting credit cards. I think when they were in Sandy Ground, they did not accept American Express. Not sure if that's still the case at their present location.

It was still closed last night. We did run into someone last night at Mario's who knows the people at Moulin Fou. She told us they're on vacation, but wasn't sure when they would be returning. Today is our last day here, so disappointed we didn't get to dine there during this trip.

And I’m so sorry we didn’t get to meet this trip. Safe travels home and maybe next year? 😊😊

Respectfully,

pat

We went to Mario's for the first time because of the prefixed menu, It is now in the top two favorites, plus it was a full moon, it was an enchanting evening.

We joined the 'group' for dinner last night at Mario. It was so delicious and as Mike said they are still offering the prix fixe dinner menu.
