Just a quick question. When you are in SXM and go to Philipsburg to shop,,,where do most of you park.? In years past, we always pulled into a parking area on the beach near where Great Bay resort was, and walked in. I have heard that there is no parking on the beach anywhere anymore.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.

We always go to the other end of the beach and park in the gated lot next to Bobby's Marina. It is $1 an hour, but so be it.

We first try the pay parking lot near the municipal building. If that's full, we park in the free area along the salt pond.

that sounds reasonable....thanks....also stmartinfan mentioned the pay parking near municipal building, it that kinda right downtown? I just don't remember seeing it, but I am sure we can find it. Thanks!

It's in the same area as the police station and other governmental buildings.

Parking lot on Ring Road. There is a lot of space and parking is free. Usually about a 2 block walk to front street.
