Some friends are looking to stay on STT in March 2019. I've only stayed at the Marriott
so I cannot offer any suggestions. There are (3) couples and they would like to be near the beach.
Any suggestions?

How is the rebuilding going?

Thanks in advance for your help.

What kind of accommodations are they looking for? Hotel, Villa, Condo? How many nights? What do they like to do?

Thanks for replying Coleen. It appears now (3) couples late 20's. Love the beach, (1) week.....renting a car as well. Airbnb would work fine. I'm just not that familiar with STT.
Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks much!

Secret Harbour (www.secretharbourvi.com) is a nice choice. We stayed there a couple of times in the past and it appears to be back on-line.

I haven't stayed on St. Thomas a lot, but we did stay near Sapphire beach and it was a very nice area.

Hey mappy,

If they decide not to do the resort thing, Both AirBNB and FRBO have bunch of listings for St Thomas.
I am spending a couple extra days before our charter in May at an AirBNB on the east side St Thomas.
Hop on their web site and pull up the map view check out the pics. Just need to decide what side of the island you all prefer.

Map,

We have a one bedroom unit located in the Point Pleasant complex. It's on the east end of St Thomas about 5 minutes from Red Hook and all the fun to be had there. Along with the ferry to St. John. Coki Beach is just across the bay, Lindquist Beach is a stones throw away and Sapphire as well. You just can't be beat the view and the breezes from our balcony up on the top of the hill! There is a restaurant on site and three pools to enjoy.

PM me and I can send you the website and our VRBO listing number!! I have contacts for a variety other units available in the complex for them as well.

Definitely Sapphire Beach, and the Sapphire Beach Resort & Marina. Situated oceanfront on a gorgeous beach steps from the beautiful water and island views. Restaurant and bar, beautiful two-tiered pool and good snorkeling. You can rent directly through the owner so you know exactly what condo you are getting. Not the case at Secret Harbour Resort so would not recommend that. Will follow with contact info for two excellent owners.

Hi - If interested we we rent nice, updated studios from Jim & Sheila Morrison, great owners. These units are beautifully furnished and have everything you might want.
Email: silemo@aolcom
Website: paradisenights.us
All second story and units and very roomy and comfy, we’ve stayed in two, one in bldg D and one in bldg A. We like bldg D away from the beach swimming area and closer to the pool but both are great. Be sure to email or call for current rates, phone number is on the website.

If you need more room Beautiful Bill has a two-story villa or suite, also a very nice unit in bldg A right next to the dive center. VRBO# 358600 for Bill’s 2-story unit, he posts on the St Thomas forum on Trip Advisor as Beautiful Bill if you want to PM him directly on TA.

Sapphire is a gorgeous beach, and staying oceanfront gives you not only the nice breezes, but the waves at night are very soothing! And a 3 minute taxi or drive into Red Hook for great restaurants (Island Time pizza) and bars (Duffy’s Love Shack!).

[EDIT] And nothing against Point Pleasant, Elysian Beach (Cowpet Bay), or even the Secret Harbor Resort and other properties in Secret Harbor, we just love the SBR&M on Sapphire Beach for the beautiful beach, water colors, and island views, along with the atmosphere and closest proximity to Red Hook.
