We are getting ready to book a February trip to VG.
Anyone have info on the status of the VG airport?
All I could find via google was articles dating back to early summer speculating a Sept opening.

A recent article, online of course, in the BVI Beacon newspaper said that the VG airport would open next month sometime. Hmm, I also read the Platinum newspaper so the
article could have been there instead. Anyway, google BVI newspapers and you should be able to find the article and a picture of the airport. Have fun on VG and post a trip
report...

Hmm, on the other hand it could have been a FaceBook post on BVI news updates or What's Happening on VG Today. There was a photo of the airport and a
airplane, baggage carts, etc. Might even have been a BVI Tourism post. Alas, I'm hooked on browsing BVI on the internet because it's not May yet. But I think
you are good to fly into VG in Feb. Have fun! Don't forget your sunscreen...

The airport is scheduled to open October 29th 2018 - reliable sources - cheers Brian

Thank you! Open or not open won’t sway our decision I return to VG, just makes for a better travel day.
