Don't see the point on closing the street traffic from 12-3. That is when I usually part at the Lolo's for a lunch. That's enough to discourage me from ever going to GC as I don't like going there at night.

I don't really see the reason to close the street from 12 to 3 either. Closing in the evening SEEMS like a good idea, PROVIDED you can get in and out of town otherwise and park. I got the impression that those were proposals though, not necessarily done deals.

It would be nice if included in the expansion plans for L'Esperence airport there was a parking area if they plan to close the Blvd 12-3 and in the evening.

I am sorry if this has been answered--but does anyone know if Calmos Cafe will reopen? I was admonished the other day not to barbecue in my Calmos t-shirt as it may be irreplacable!

NEVER mind! I just used the search function, and found a post saying they hope to reopen by the end of November 2018.

It has been posted that they intend to re-open. However, this Daily Herald story said their fate was unclear. I do hope they reopen.
