Hey there! My daughter and I leave for our trip tomorrow, wasn’t sure if you would be able to go due to the fact my dad and grandma have been in the hospital. We booked accommodations last minute and won’t check into our place on St. John until Monday. We fly into St. Thomas tomorrow afternoon and I’m wondering if anyone can tell me if the ferries are running to Tortola? Was thinking we might go there and spend the weekend there before going to St. John on Monday. Any other advice on islands to visit or suggestions appreciated. Thank you!

Hi - We just returned from Tortola on Sunday 7/15. We landed in St Thomas on 7/10 and caught the 2pm Native Son ferry to Road Town Tortola no worries. Still no ferries to West end yet. Hope this helps.

I wouldn't do it for a day. There is no Ferry from Tortola to St John. The trip back will likely mean Road Town to Down Town. Cab to Red Hook and Ferry to St John. Find something simple here on St Thomas for a couple of nights.
