Day 4 Report

We started today as we have every other day, watching the sunrise from the pool deck. It just doesn't get old.  For breakfast I made everyone a two egg, ham and cheese omelette with bacon and toast. We relaxed on the pool deck for a while and chatted about the activities of the week so far and tried to decide what to do for the rest of the day. We decided on Pinel Island and off to get ready we went.

We arrived at the ferry pier around 11:30. We took the 12:00 across. One the ride over I noticed Capt. Bob's boat was anchored.  Once there we grabbed four chairs at Karibuni. We ordered a few drinks and went for a swim. We spent the afternoon relaxing between the chairs and the water. While swimming the group started heading for Capt. Bob's boat.  We went over and said hello to Capt. Bob and chatted for a while.  What a nice man and I have to say he has the right attitude to show people around the island.  We met a nice couple from Albany and we chatted with them for a while. It was their last night and wanted to go out for a nice meal. We suggested they go to Grand Case.  After much talk about the different restuarants I think they decided on Spiga's.  We stayed for the afternoon and took the 5:00 boat back. We didn't eat on the island we just relaxed and had a few drinks.

We headed back to the villa to get ready for dinner. We had some cheese and crackers with grapes and got cleaned up.  We decided to eat at Capt. Oliver's.  I had the Red Snapper and Timea had a shrimp plate. Hunter got the fishermans platter and Evan got chicken breast.  The staff was very friendly and seemed to be in a good mood. At one point the waiter was showing a lobster to a couple and when he walk by he held it up behind Evan and tapped him on the shoulder. When he turned he jumped and almost landed out of his chair, good thing the waiter was ready for that as he grabbed him with his free hand. It was the funniest thing we saw all week.  Back at the house we sat in the living room and talked for awhile.  All in all it was a fun relaxing day.
