Interesting article. Glad to see they are getting repairs underway.

Must admit, I was wondering what caused the failure at the Jost Van Dyke water reservoir.

So much damage that could have possibly been minimized rather than totally destroyed......

Infrastructure maintenance has never been a strong suit in the BVI. Whether that be school buildings, roads, electric grid, or water supply, a lot of damage could have been less severe if things were in better shape before the storm. They pissed away 7 million on an airline that never flew, but didn’t keep basic infrastructure in good repair. And that is unlikely to change.
