We are looking for a condo in the Simpson Bay/Pelican Key area for Feb. 2-16, 2019. been to SXM for past 20plus years and have always stayed in the Oyster Pond area.....but we would be more comfortable driving at night to casinos and night life....since the Westin isn't open and a lot for our favorite bars and restaurants are gone.

Any suggestions?

Not sure if they have availability, but you could check here at Beachside Villas!

La Vista Beach, Atrium and Simpson Bay Resort have 2 bedroom units. Also Logans Run next to La Vista rents by the week. We rented from them this last May for 3 weeks. Great place.

Since our timeshare was closed, we stayed at the Blue Pelican in Pelican key for 3 weeks this past February. Close to all the action on Simpson Bay yet a safe gated community of 14 townhouses. All the amenities. Free wi-fi, tv, washer and dryer, fully equipped kitchen, patio, large bath and kingsize bed, beachchairs and towels.. We were very pleased with the accommodations and helpful site manager.

If you want to stay in Simpson Bay, I would suggest looking into the Villas at Simpson Bay Resort. They will give you everything you are looking for plus you will have wonderful sunset/bay views from your large patio/balcony.

I agree with dmweiser. The Villas are a real nice place to stay. Has everything you may need in a condo except a beach. 2 minute walk to either side of the Villas for nice beaches. There is a bulkhead in front of their pool with steps into the waist deep water if you need a quick swim. Sunset on their large balcony, every room has an ocean view.
