I've read that there's a ferry from Red Hook to Jost. Is it running? I'm trying to do some preplanning for January since there's no longer a ferry to the West End, realizing schedules will change.
I truly appreciate all the information and advice from this forum about the BVI. It's up to date and give the real picture. Thank you -

No, it's currently not running. To get to JVD from St. Thomas, you'll have to go to Road Town, and then take a taxi to West End to get the JVD ferry.

Or you could use a private water taxi, we have used Foxy's Charters in the past. Very reliable, fun time. Of course the more people you are traveling with, the more economic this will be. http://www.foxyscharters.com/water-taxi/
