We stayed at Divi Village Sunday-Saturday Easter week. I did a lot of beach walking and got into shape. Visited Palm Beach and Eagle Beach on a daily basis, along with frequent visits to the Alhambra Casino. Perhaps the highlight of the trip was going to Charlie's Bar, in San Nicholas, nestled in the red light district, with friends of ours from Cleveland. Best food on the island! I also visited Renaissance island,Baby Beach, Boca Grandi Beach and its northern extension, Boca Prins and Dos Playa beaches (very isolated and hard to get to). The beaches in general are very clean and litter free, except for the north coast beaches which are littered and need cleanup badly. My wife got a "casino tan", prompting immigration to ask if we had been to the same island. Watching the roulette game, black came up eight times in a row. Nine came up five times in 15 spins, as did ten the next evening. I made $1.00 playing the black jack machine all week. I stayed out of the sun from 11:30-12:30 each day, as the sun is intense. We saw wild goat herds in the national park. A great trip. Looking forward to a return to St. Martin next year. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />
