Our flight leaves out of St. Thomas a day after our charter with Mooring. Wanted to know if anyone had a recommendation for hotel or Air B+B for a 1 night stay in Tortola or St. Thomas. Thanks

We usually spend one night at Emerald Beach, it is right on the beach, just down the street from the St. Thomas Airport. It makes our travel day home so much easier. The price can vary quite a bit, I usually call and ask for the manager and ask for her best price. She usually gives me a better price then is on their website. http://www.emeraldbeach.com

We have stayed at Emerald Beach and their sister hotel, Lindburgh Bay (a bit closer to airport) pre Irma. Emerald has a much better beach, both had food and a bar. Post Irma, we have stayed at the Windward on STT.
We also like to stay at Maria's by the Sea in Tortola. Great atmosphere and lovely pool.

There is also the Hummingbird B and B which is on the hillside above Moorings and near the sports club which is a nice place to have dinner

Olgas Fancy and Mafolie Hotel are popular overnights in STT.

JPH I spent my money on booze, broads, and boats...the rest I wasted.

Used The Green Iguana last summer. Clean and reasonable.
I'd like to be a jelly fish, cause jelly fish don't pay rent.

Yes, they are open. Here is a link to Olga's website. I second this recommendation! It's a 15 minute walk from the ferry dock.
