Absolutely picture perfect days on the beach, a little windy but gorgeous nonetheless. Lunch yesterday ended up being Alamanda pool bar. It was fantastic, but super busy. We wanted to go back today but I think they are only open on the weekends. So we ended up at CODA again which was very good as usual. Last night we went to Sun Beach Clubber in Orient Village. We weren't really sure what to expect but it was phenomenal. It was right up there with Le Piment. Tonight we tried SAO in OV and it too was fantastic. Our top 3 in OV are Sun Beach, Le Piment and SAO in no particular order. All 3 were fabulous in their own unique way. We have 1 day and 1 night left and we will have to decide what do. It's been a great vacation. The best that we can do is try to support their economy with our dollars.

We are coming sat. We definitely will spend most of our money in orient beach. What are the average prices for dinner? Are they doing $1 for €1. Whats best American cash, credit card, euro? Thanks for all your reports

I haven't seen 1 for 1 anywhere. All the restaurants in OV take credit cards. All of our lunchtime options have been cash only. We have been averaging around €80 for dinner for the 2 of us which generally includes a bottle of wine. The food has been simply wonderful everywhere we've gone. OV has been very alive every night that we have been here with all of the restaurants being nearly full. Oh, and tips have all been in cash.

So, does Sun Beach Clubber take credit cards? I'm kind of confused, you order on the beach and they bring it from the kitchen in the Village?

IMHO go with U.S. cash wherever you can. they won't have the credit card fees. Enjoy your trip ! You will be happy you went.

OK Carol, so this is a little confusing because we were confused when we got there. Sun Beach Clubber on the beach actually has their food prepared by CODA in OV and it is delivered to the beach. They only take cash on the beach. Sun Beach Clubber in OV is only open for dinner and the food is prepared at Sun Beach Clubber. They do take credit cards. For those of you who know the island better than we do, Richard owns CODA. It is a great place for lunch and his staff is wonderful.

Thank you Pat and Peter. It was so nice to meet you and we hope you enjoy the rest of your time here. It was really hard to leave the beach today. Safe travels.
