Does anyone have information about the ferry to Anguilla by the airport? We stopped there yesterday but no one was around. Gate was locked. Is there a website that provides information. I thought that was the location for GB Express but there was no signage. I sent GB Express an email but never got a response.

GB Express website does not look to be up to date. I would try calling them. Not sure if they are leaving from the location across from the airport since Irma or not.

This is their website http://gbferries.com/ - they currently leave from the Simpson Bay bridge/police station (as do all the shuttles). I have heard recently that it is more efficient (and cheaper) to take the public ferry from Marigot.
All public ferry and private shuttle info can be found on the following link (pdf):

Happy planning.

The public ferry has always been much cheaper. You have to drive to Marigot, be on their schedule and the boat may or may not be full. I have done both and if $$ is not a concern, I would go GB Express. I am not sure how the term "efficient" comes into play as the public ferry often leaves both SXM and AXA on "island time".

Oh I totally agree about GB, before we started flying over on Anguilla Air Service, they were our boat of choice, very professional. But, lately, I have been hearing about the shuttles not being consistent, missing trips, waiting too long for passengers, too much chaos at Simpson Bay due to the small space and all the boats, that some people are thinking they may as well just take the public ferry. If I was taking a boat, it would def be GB.
