So I’m starting to formulate my 7 night itinerary for July. There’s something to be said about not rushing from anchorage to anchorage to see and experience as much as possible. I think a relaxing timeout for the crew would be welcome. So my question is if you were to stay at an anchorage for 2 consecutive nights which one would it be.

Leverick has many options including renting a car and touring the island. This is available at both. As are great dining options such as the restaurant at leverick and the wonky dog on anegada.
But the question remains, what do you like to do?
Some would want to find a quiet anchorage for 2 nights, swim snorkel and done on board.

We tend to like Leverick for 2 nights. Especially at the dock. We usually go around the middle of the trip if we can help it. That way we can do things like re-provision, laundry or shop between excursions on the island like going to the Bath's, Coppermine or meals out. We always make sure to have one meal at the upstairs Restaurant and last time we actually were lucky enough to be there for the Friday night Barbeque as well. Being at the dock is a nice change as well so we can easily go our separate ways when need be. All of the above being said, you cannot go wrong wherever you decide. Pick a favorite spot and hunker down doing the things you like to do.

I agree Leverick, but another option is JVD great harbor and enjoy white bay and little jost on 2 different days.
I'd like to be a jelly fish, cause jelly fish don't pay rent.

We just got back yesterday. Spent 2 nights at Leverick and 2 nights at Anegada. I'll try to get a trip report together ASAP.

I always do at least 2 nights on Anegada and if possible I pick JVD for another 2 night stay.

We just did the same last week. The trip out and back to Anegada requires more time so to see it all means renting a car/truck/jeep and you need to get your money's worth. Cow Wreck beach bar should be an all day thing anyway. JVD is too much fun to rush through, Soggy in the afternoon and the next day, then over to Foxy's. Less moving the boat and more relaxing.

If you do spend a couple of days on Anegada I suggest renting a car from Dean Wheatley. He can be reached by calling 284-544-3703 or email dwjeep@hotmail.com.
Go Irish!!
