There was a store at the end of front street in Philipsburg before Greenhouse that sold luggage. It was at the turn to back street but that was awhile ago.

Three years ago a friend ran into the same problem-we shopped the island and found a good piece of luggage at a great price at Cost U Less in Cole Bay-just around the corner from Mark's Place.

Why dont you ask hotel management who should know what is open and where is the closest/best place for luggage/carry on?

If you're in Philipsburg, behind the Court House where all the market stalls were almost directly across the street a little to the left of the parking lot, there was a shop pre-Irma. Have not been there to see if it's open now. It had luggage out on the street in front of the shop. A few years back we needed an inexpensive bag and stopped there. Five or 6 years later it's still going strong!

Cost U Less would be my suggestion. Top brands at best prices. I purchased an extra carry on there a few years ago and it is is Heys and very durable.

Cost U Less is a shell of it's former self. May not have any as they don't have much.

Has Cost U Less not recovered since the hurricane? Hope it gets back to normal soon.

In February it was open, but about a 1/3 of the original size, not much in there I'm afraid, hopefully they will rebuild quickly
