Moor Secure or some other company will probably get the contract for the mooring balls.
Seems like a win win situation.

A good reason to visit Peter Island now and let Norman Island become a ghost town smile

Have the few (I only remember a handful) moorings in Great Harbour been inspected since Irma?

We just overnighted there in April, I think there was probably 20 mooring balls? They seemed to be in good shape. The first one we tried the leader didn't look good, so we moved onto another one.

Great Harbor is actually a Great alternative that should work well - esp since Oceans 7 is often closed. Wondering where they are going to place it? Deep in and towards the West may be too close to resort? Oceans to East. Thinking right in middle???

Also curious if the Sprat moorings are still there and if anyone has inspected them...

I am sure the Romney daughters must be rejoicing. The Willy T and Billy Bones and then Pirates actually complemented each other in the Bight. Oceans 7 was supposed to be a place for Romney Assoc to send cruise ship excursions but never produced enough to justify what they put in it. With the Wiily T as anchor attraction, If they clean it up and find someone who knows how to run a good restaurant/bar they can come out well.

No Oceans 7 has not reopened. Doesn't look like the property has been touched since the hurricanes.

They’re going to have to, Great harbor is too deep for anchoring except for a few areas.

That’s exactly what the developers wanted.

I wonder if this idea has been run by anyone with the last name of Van Andel?

This is exactly what I was thinking. Not sure the Willy T and Peter Island Resort fit together... Slightly different dress codes for dinner lmao!
