Hi all; starting to plan for our next bareboat adventure this time on a one way from St. Vincent to Grenada with various stops along the way. We may be as many as 4 couples so have narrowed down the options to the following boats.

Bali 4.3
Lagoon 450 Fly
Saona 47

I know that the Bali 4.3 and Saona our relatively new boats but wanted to know which one would you pick? Another option is the Lagoon 52 but this may be overkill for our needs (although it would be awesome! grin)

The bali4.3 looks a little small
The Saona is new and some nice features
the Lagoon is tried and true

We have to bareboat charters under our belts in the BVIs both on a moorings 4000. All four of the gents that will be on the boat (including myself) have just come from a ASA 101-104 live aboard course out of Grenada. As such the boat will be well handled.

appreciate your thoughts. thanks!

We just chartered a Lagoon 450F and loved it. I would stay far away from the Bali. We had one a couple of years ago and that thing sailed like crap! I don't know anything about a Saona.

If you have some time try to remind me at the end of June. We're on a Lagoon 450 F June 11-22. Can't wait.

Man did I forget this thread, Ligot if you are out there would still like to hear about the Lagoon 450F.

We ended up booking the Saona 47. We are really excited but realized that one Cabin is not like the other so we may have to flip or draw straws to see which couple ends up in the smaller Cabin. Not a huge issue and I may end up taking the Cabin anyway to avoid any drama

We’ve booked the 441 cat for 4 couples. Grenada next year. Hoping it’ll be big enough? 4 cabins 4 heads & newer boat. We’re stressed about the small refrigerator but that might mean we go out to dinner more:)
