A lot of you know me as the guy who has sold the VI Cruising Guides and a bunch of other stuff to BVI sailors and land visitors for nearly 20 years. I just wanted to tell you that there will be NO new VI Cruising Guide this November in the usual 2-year cycle. According to Cruising Guide Publications, this was done to give time for BVI businesses to get re-established after the hurricanes. So, the current 2017-18 edition will be good until November 2019.

Thanks for all your business and support.

We have used the cruising guides for decades, including the VI 2017-2018 version last week in St Thomas and St Croix / Buck Island. Similar information for Culebra / Culebrita and Vieques would have been appreciated. Given the number of new charter bases in Fajardo, which will open up the Spanish Virgins to those who can't or won't make the trip from bases in St Thomas or Tortola, is there chance that the next version will include the SVI?

ps You might want to post your message over on the Puerto Rico / USVI forum as well.
