This is a quite interesting use for recycling plastic. Like ti see this used in SXM or any country for that matter.

Now that is what I would like to see. I am so against seeing plastic (disposable water bottles, solo cups, straws) used just about anywhere, but if it could be repurposed to road use, hallelujah.

As a scuba instructor I can tell you that when we deal with scuba divers we really stress that our divers - visitors - when going to any dive area in the world "leave nothing but footprints" and when it comes to what's in the water we stress "bring back nothing but memories"
North Americans are world experts at creating garbage and when I see what ends up in the oceans and how it's killing the fish I despair that we'll ever change our attitudes.

While staying in Orient Village last month for 10 days we walked the length of Orient early all but two days and collected plastics and trash. I think we collected over 200#, but where did it end up? It is going to take a LOT of small efforts to clean up our paradise. One pleasant surprise was Caribbean Paddling. The lunch that you can order from them for the paddle to Pinel is delicious and totally recyclable materials in a reusable cooler. How to get that small step spread to other restaurants? I would certainly pay more to encourage elimination of plastics.
