Can anyone know the status of the Esmeralda? Did they suffer a lot of damage, are they open and taking reservations, are the pools still operating, is the Astrolabe still open, is there still a path to the beach and is anything going on where Coco Beach was. Thanks for any info.

We have been past Esmeralda a couple of times, and never seen any activity. Astrolabe is not open.

When by there twice this trip. At Astrolabe, no tables, no chairs, I can see the framework for the cloth awning, but no cloth. Looks pretty closed to me.

got an e-mail from Robin at the St Martin reservation center on Feb 25th
she said that the Esmeralda has delayed their opening until Nov at the earliest
sorry for the bad news
