Customs is now available by appointment at Red Hook. Email ayhcustoms@igymarinas.com for an appointment.

Thanks for the info. Just sent them an email asking appointment info. We'll be down there on April 18th. We had dropped the St.John plans just due to
not wanting to sail over to CA.

The post I saw said C/I at Red Hook will cost US $50, plus fees for each person. Clearance is free in Charlotte Amalie smile

Well, don't know if I can do that. I'll post if they get back with me.
Thanks

Hi all, below is the email I received back in reference to customs at Red Hook. Correct me if I'm reading this wrong, but it sounds to me the $50 charge is for the use of the marina. Not sure if
mooring balls would be available outside the marina then dingy in.
I plan on doing more digging around on this, we'll be down there the middle of the month.

Thanks Phil

Good Day Captain,
Thank you for choosing IGY American Yacht Harbor. We are happy to say Customs and Boarder Protection is at AYH temporary. The appointment hours are Monday – Saturday, 9 am – 4pm and Sunday, 2pm-4pm. Please make a confirmed appointment so you and you guest can easily go through the process of clearing. We strive for a smooth experience for your vessel and crew from arrival to departure.
You can enter the marina couple of ways: and you must confirm your vessels entry into the marinas as:

• $50.00 for a one-time clearance

• $300 for monthly, unlimited clearance

• By use of free dinghy dock (dingy must be under 12 feet)

Information we need to confirm your appointment:
Vessel:
Arrival Date:
Arrival Time:
Number of Passengers:
Last Port:
Length:
Beam:
Draft:
Please hail us on Channel 16 when you approach the marina. Your time and effort are appreciated, and I look forward to your reply.
Thank you for choosing American Yacht Harbor - where Arriving is Just the Beginning.
