We are heading down April 28th for a 7 night charter. This is our third charter and we are going out of St. Thomas this year to try something new. What time do the customs offices open in West End and Jost? Not sure which one we are going to clear in with, but it will be one or the other. Thanks!

I don’t know if either are open for yachts. You might have to go to road town. I know they have been running a temporary facility at West End. I am sure others here can chime in. Bring a lot of cash for the new taxes!

Both are open for yachts. I believe West End opens at 8am and JVD at 8:30am (or thereabouts).

Your charter company should be able to give you the current info when you do the checkout.

Just wondering if the west end is open for the ferries and customs. Hoping to pick up additional parties at the west end in April vs Road Town.

West End only open for clearing yachts. Cruz Bay on the US side is closed too so all ferries are running Road Town/Charlotte Amalie.
