We booked our Outbound for 10/20 on JB direct from JFK. Once Nov opens up I'll book inbound. We've been booking this way for several years because we fly JB and their extended schedule doesn't include our return until they extend again. One way fares have been reasonable and we haven't paid more doing it this way then we would buying round trip.

We've done that a couple of times for our January trips. No issue at all with the one way bookings. Our last trip to another location we did the same but using two different airlines for the trip

Fabilia, I take it you have no problem with TSA , arrival (or whatever) because you do not have a return ticket?

Louise,
This has become our norm too, but we frequently split the trip between AA and JB. We’re a day after you heading down on AA but not totally certain where we’re staying yet for the first three weeks - hopefully the Towers will be ready - and coming home on AA but connecting into HPN instead of JFK. We still had miles to use on AA, and as much as I like the T5 C & I, we decided to use the last of our AA miles. I do know we’re at BSV from 11/11 thru the 19th. When do you head home?
Respectfully,
pat

I would assume she will have her return flight booked before she leaves. The flights are not until the fall. The JB availability schedule usually falls right between our January weeks so we book the flight down and just wait for the return to be available and then book that....months ahead of our trip

I have been booking my outbound and return separately for several years now because I use miles to travel. I book on the day the flights become available. Since I stay at least three weeks, if I waited until the return became available, the outbound would no longer be available.

We will have a return ticket. We have to wait for another JB extension to Nov or book Delta for return.
