Hi everyone. My wife and I have been members on here for a long time but its been so long since I used the site I forgot my info so I resigned up. We went to St Martin in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009. Got engaged there and Honeymooned there. This year is our 10th anniversary and we are going back in June. Im hoping the most beautiful place on earth is in a little better shape by then. So, to my question. What restaraunts, bars are open and what is expected to be by then? Does anyone know. Thank you on advance. We have a villa that we know is in good shape.

Congrats on your anniversary! Yes, it's pretty much impossible to predict what will be open in June. The pinned thread shows what's open now, and is being updated fairly regularly. We're going in May, so I'll post my observations when we get back, as I'm sure others will do between now and June.

We are hoping to make a visit in April-May. Not sure where we will stay yet, but I did put a deposit on a place about half a year ago. Also bought air fare and now see that the flight no longer exists. Going to wait a few more weeks and notify our realtor to see if I still have a place to stay. If so, I will see what can be done with the air fare. Getting to the age that I don't want to miss a vacation to our favorite place for fear I'll never have that chance once again. I realize that what I may see once I get there might upset me, but that's life. I don't want to regret that I stayed away just because... I'm sure the money we spend may make a small difference in helping bring normalcy back to those who need it the most. So, I'm hoping all things fall into place and we can return once again. If so, I too will post some stories and photos to help others decide what they might want to do.

I hope you make it there ok. I booked airfare on Spirit back in November. I'm not sure why your flight would not be there anymore. The airport is open for business. Best of luck with your trip.
