Why do I get directed to GoDaddy asking if I want to buy the name when I enter the Club Orient web address?

I went to buy it and it says it’s taken. It says I can buy it for$9999.00 and $14.99/month.

cluborient.com is taken but can be bought thru GoDaddy for a fee of $69.99 (domain buy service)
Domains orient.club is a premium domain that can be bought from godaddy for $9,999.99
Domain cluborientresort.com is premium and can be bought for 1,499.00 or the cheapest is cluborients.com for $11.99 lol

I imagine that they just ignored the email to renew the domain, which is dumb, because renewing a domain is dirt cheap. Someone smart purchased it, and I figure they will pay a pretty penny to get it back, or just start up a different domain. Back when, before Irma, they probably should have bought up a bunch of different similar domains. Domains are generally cheap to buy, unless it is a specific one.

cluborient.com is still owned by Club O: Whois lookupIt's not currently re-directing (which is why you get an ad from GoDaddy. Note they are NOT offering to sell you cluborient.com, but rather variations on the theme). This may be because the website is down or because someone neglected to pay the re-direct fee to GoDaddy. Given that Club O has mentioned that they were having problems with their email, this is probably just an oversight which will be rectified.

Just for reference, the domain was updated in 2017 and does not expire until 2021. Fortunately, they have lots of time to deal with any technical issues.

On the Club O Facebook page today they note they're having technical issues which they hope to have resolved as soon ad possible. They're on the case!
