The new member travel calendar is now active. Simpler design and now you can post and edit your own entries. When you go to the new calendar (link above below the banners), then on the upper right side you will see a log in button. Press that and register as a new user. User id does not have to be the same as here but can be. Add your email address and submit. The calendar will send you an initial password, which you can change after you log in the first time.
To add your dates, there is a plus button at the top right or click on the day in the calendar to bring up the add date screen. Most of that is then self explanatory, use the "Category" drop down menu to select the color coding of your entry. The start date and end date. You can ignore the all day and time entries completely.
The old calendar entries could not be migrated and we pretty much obsolete because of Irma. So if you have added any, then you will need to reimput those dates again.
I will also be setting up a general travel calendar in addition to the BVI and SXM travel calendars shortly.

Thank you, Eric! Now we're 'official'.

I joined the calendar, entered my trips, and then tried to change my password. I had to log out to do that, because I could only get to the login screen after I was logged out. I attempted twice to change my password, and both times got an error message that either the user name or password were invalid. So I said the heck with it and just logged back in using the old password. Nope, now apparently that's invalid too. Help!

Send me a PM with what you want for the password and I can change it for you.

Is there a way to edit an event we've added? We've changed the dates on our fall trip, and I'd like to fix that on the calendar.

Yes, you can edit your own entry now, if you log in, with the specific log in that you created for the calendar. If you have problems with it, send Eric an email at admin@traveltalkonline.com

I believe I was logged in, but couldn't figure out how to edit. The only option I saw was to add. I'll try again. Edited to add that I figured it out. The help information is actually quite helpful if you use it, lol.
