Working on booking our flights from SJU to EIS, looking for input on both airlines. Have been doing the STT route the last ten years and the last time we did the SJU route we used cape air. But looking at cape air rates we could do a charter flight for almost the same amount, so looking into the other options available.

Thank you in advance,

We used seaborne in April no problem. We were on United, walked to seaborne, got our boarding passes, we had about 2hours between flights. I would use them again. Both flight were on time. Hope this helps

Air Sushine has always worked for us. They show current schedules on their website. But I can't confirm more than that.
Can You folks on either islands advise Air Sunshine?

We have used Seaborne successfully many times, including two days ago. They filed chapter 11 this past week and are being taken over by Silver Airlines. It didn’t seem to affect anything.

Silver airlines is the former Gulfstream international airlines. They are held in very low esteem regardless of which name they are using. I am not sure this buyout will end well.

George, do you attribute the choice to a lack of suitors?

I heard that Seaborne was recovering well and that with the recent codeshare agreements was on track financially. IRMA and Maria impacted them badly and killed any hope of a solo reorganization. I don’t know who the players were who might have made offers for bankruptcy financing.

We used Intercaribbean for the first time last May and we are using them again in June. We had to collect our bags from Jet Blue in San Juan and allow time to go out and check in again for Intercaribbean but it was easy - they now recognize TSA Pre as well so hoping this year is even easier!

We had our March 21st Seaborne flight from Beef Island to San Juan cancelled - 4 couples. Flights were booked though United and American who were only somewhat helpful.
One couple got on later flight and were able to rebook their flight to Philly. Myself and the two others got the late afternoon flight off of Beef and will overnight in San Juan.
No explanation for the cancelled flight - and if notices are coming from the US carriers, we've yet to see them.

I'm a fan of Intercaribbean. I couldn't get as good of price with any other airline from our San Juan-Beef Island part of our journey. I also like that one checked bag is included with your airfare, as well as our departure tax out of BVI.

Everything ran smoothly getting there. Our flight was delayed 2+ hours getting back to San Juan due to a mechanical issue. They got another plane there as soon as possible and were proactive about it.
