With the new format, a lot of the avatar photos which I had previously seen now show up as an x. I haven't made any changes to my internet options settings, and this doesn't happen on other forums. But, I think I've figured something out. The photos I do see are uploaded individual ones. The x's are replacing the stock photos from the old format. And for those who had no photos, there is now a capital letter corresponding to the 1st letter of their screenname. Not a complaint, just curious.
I'm going where the weather suits my clothes.

I'm guessing the difference it between people who uploaded an actual image as opposed to using a link to an image on another server. Those links were probably broken during the migration.

Yeah, I'm not sure what happened to those generic pictures. For those who don't have pictures, you can upload an avatar in your profile settings, and the picture size is larger than it used to be.

Somehow, my avatar carried over. It is an old link from photo bucket. Funny thing, I can no longer locate this photo on my account
