My wife and I are returning to St. Martin late next month. We stay in a villa above Happy Bay. The beach at Happy Bay has been one of our favorites. Over the years, we have gotten to know Danny, who sells food and drinks out of his small "snack shack". I'm wondering if anyone has any information about Danny, post Irma. We have tried to call him, but can not get through on the number that we have for him. Has anyone been to Happy Bay? Is there any problem with ccessing the beach, post Irma? Has anyone seen Danny?

Great news for Happy Bay fans! I just spoke to Danny and he will be back on the beach starting this Saturday. He said that the storm knocked him flat, but he has things back together so he can start cooking again.
