Have used Empress car rental often in the past with no issues and good service however repeated emails to them pre and post Irma have had no reply. Hoping to book for 3 weeks in early 2018 but not sure if they are still in business, I note they are not sponsors which I thought they used to be. Anyone know if they are still around???

Rented from them in November no issues. They said to use their website to book with them direct.

We've used them for the last three years and always find it difficult to receive confirmation from them via email. Kind of strange that it is so hard to get them to reply. Don't know if we will use them on our upcoming February visit.

Have you checked your spam? Used them about 5 times in 2017 and always have received a response booking directly through the website. I use my gmail Account if that matters. I did email direct once and did not get a response for over a month, some how it took that long for the email to get there!!

Agreed, if their email address is Caribserv, it is on the spam list of most providers.

Just reserved car for Feb 1918. $78/week for 6 weeks. I suspect a software glitch. I shall await the confirmation email. (I note Empress is no longer a TTOL sponsor.)

Yes, $78 is a great price! Wonder if it has a windshield?
