No work has started as yet. They are waiting on the insurance settlement.

That's ridiculous. They should have some funds to do something...

Hopefully they are lining up contractors to move asap when settlements received, not good if tents are up next storm season!

As our building was a victim of Irma, I can attest that you must move forward with repairs, memorialize all damage for insurance and have them appraise loss and move forward and submit repairs to insurance. You cannot wait Will only cause more damage by mold, rust etc. We are doing that now. Huge job. Landscaping, lobby destroyed, dry wall gone, trim gone from elevators. All ground floor electrical destroyed, cctv etc. Security. You cannot wait. Good luck irina

That article has to do with the FBO building. Thats for general aviation use. Nothing is mentioned about the regular terminal that is used for commercial aviation.

It's just unbelieveable that they are just waiting for the insurance.

This article is not about the existing terminal, or even about the existing FBO building which is temporarily bring used to handle airline passengers. This is about a brand new FBO building. This is new construction, not repairs.

At this rate it will take another year to repair , what about all the taxes they collect .im sure the condition of the airport must be recorded so nothing should change except maybe get worst with the delay , is someone waiting for a pay off at least fix the roof and clean out the building

The FBO is a great addition but the main building should be repaired first for the economy of the island
