SeaDream has been stopping occasionally on Anegada for years. She carries a maximum 112 high end passengers, so not really any issue. She also anchors pretty far out.

Since Anegada is up and back to normal maybe the excess Donated building materials can be used to build a cruise ship pier <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Grin.gif" alt="" />

It's going to be a very long pier!

We were 1 of only 2 visiting boats at Setting Point this past Wednesday and Thursday. SeaDream came in on Friday morning and anchored at the 30' depth line about 2.7 miles from shore!

Cow Wreck and Big Bamboo are open for business with repairs ongoing. Anegada Beach Club and Flash of Beauty are making very good progress on their rebuilding efforts, but not yet open.

It is necessary to remove posts when people insult and demean other people on the board. I'm sure you would prefer I leave such things be???

Absolutely leave it up. We are all pretty adept at playing "Who's the as+hole" and deleting posts changes the context. Lock a thread if necessary, but don't delete.

Well, I guess when you have your own board, you can make your own rules.. I do not see the need to lock a thread which otherwise is on point, because someone chooses to make an a$$ out of themselves. And it gives people no incentive to monitor their own conduct if they know that regardless their note will post and it will stay. All it does is encourage p*ssing matches.

Pissing matches can be fun, especially on a windy day <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Yikes.gif" alt="" />
FWIW, I spoke to Wlaker and contrary to ill informed opinions, there is NOT an excess of building materials, in fact, there is still a need for it.

As I said, you get your own board and you can make your own rules..

Walker can certainly post as to the current actual conditions on Anegada.

Well I don't know what I did to Walker, other than delete several posts which were insulting to him, but everyone is free to post here or not. I did delete one of his posts that was legally, actionably DEFAMATORY, which we will do anytime someone posts something which accuses a person of several crimes. We do not care to be sued for defamation.
