Word is that the road in Capoons Bay between Sugar Mill and Zion Hill might be relocated 250'back from the shoreline. That will make the little strip where the Bomba Shack stood a valuable beach front building site and that has brought on a family fight over who gets to do what with the land. A relative from STT appears to be suing Bomba for posesion.

I loved the Bomba Shack way back when. Since that site has been decimated more than a few times, why, oh why would any government allow anyone to build there? I sincerely hope some lessons are learned this time around. Bomba's design of sticks fashioned together with underwear was the only thing that makes sense on a beachfront.

Interesting..I heard some time ago that the land was actually owned by the Government and was given to Bomba back in the 70's to keep him out of trouble! Probably an island myth but intersting..
