Not heard about beachside villas. Spoke to Yolanda a few weeks ago, and she was not happy. not sure they will come back... this is the second major hurricane that that beachside lived through. thinking this will be the last

Perhaps I am mistaken, but I think there has been discussions about BSV and it is not as you are portraying. A few weeks ago is a long time for current information. You might want to check their facebook page as is is not all doom and gloom.

no not all doom and gloom, but having spoke to Yolanda, she was not sure she would keep beachside going... they went through too many hurricanes... . and way too much repair for its worth...

I thought latest was that they were hoping and working towards opening in January 2018.

That's what I've read as well. Not reopening is news and contrary to what I've been led to believe on other forums, from people who also have spoken to BSV.

Absolutely incorrect. Your doom and gloom attitude is getting old. They are working steadily to repair Beachside and while they originally hoped to be open by November 1, they are HOPING now for around January 1. Building supplies have been difficult to obtain. The buildings suffered some damage, but they will definitely be back. If one is on Facebook, I understand that Tracy has posted some pictures, including of the pool, which was filled with sand, but they have removed the sand and the pool is once again blue. Yolanda is no longer actively managing Beachside, hasn't been doing so for a while. Her son and daughter in law are managing it now.

It's not news, as it's not TRUE. As I said, Yolanda is no longer actively managing Beachside. Drew and Tracy are.

I was agreeing with Snorkeller, not Sasasal.

I have heard from the admin of a FB SXM forum who has been in personal contact with Tracy. She has confirmed a mid-January reopening.

Sorry, I get upset when people post things that are obviously not correct. I have also had email contact with Tracy regarding the reopening.

I did see the January opening posted by them. They have been posting pictures of the progress they are making and the beach coming back.
There was a beautiful picture today!

I was just there and the workers said that they will be ready for January 2018. Checked it for one of our clients.
