I just saw where my next trip to SXM is four weeks from today. While I wish that were true, the actual countdown adds a year to that number. I've updated my trip date in my profile, and added a new countdown ticker. We may add a spring trip, but have a lot of other traveling planned for 2018, so that hasn't yet been decided.

What are your plans?

If I could talk MJ into it, a week in the spring would be added to our 2018 regular plans. Tough considering other plans for the year but pondering.

I kept my old countdown - just hit single digits. We were going on 11/6.

I've been meaning to, thanks for the push! I just retired yesterday, so no more excuses. We'll be going to Couples San Souci in Jamaica in February, then a road trip to the east coast next fall.

I didn't change ours. We were supposed to leave this coming Saturday (11/4) for 2 weeks at ClubO. We'll be going to Hawaii instead for those 2 weeks, so it's kind of a count down for that now. After the trip I'll change it to next November in the hopes that we will be able to get back to ClubO.

Our next trip would have been Nov 6th, but we still have our reservations for April.
There are people who are afraid of going and having health problems with the piles of garbage, water pollution, etc.

Hopefully they will get more help.

Georgia, I'm nosy where are you going?

We're spending two weeks in late November/early December in the Pacific Northwest, then two weeks in Hawaii in lat February/early March. After that, nothing is scheduled until September, so spring in SXM is a possibility.

You are busy! Sounds wonderful!

We are looking into Italy, once again, for next fall.
Still very much in the planning stages......

We have cancelled both our November and March trips.

We have instead planned a Mediterranean cruise in May with a few days in Nice and Rome.

We usually stay right on Orient, typically at La Playa, but that area has suffered major damage, so we are playing it by ear.

Haven't ruled out a March trip, but that seems unlikely so it might end up not being until next Fall. Sigh..

Its been a bit of a downer since our flights would have been for this Wednesday, Nov 1.

I was planning on November in SXM, but was waiting to book in September until after Irma had passed the islands. That was a smart move as I did not have to cancel anything. I have decided to go on a Panama Canal Cruise instead and then spend some time with friends in Florida. Travelling with another SXM lover so looking forward to a different experience.

Yes, I changed my ticker a few days ago. I was scheduled for three weeks in SXM in November; it would have been my first-ever time going twice in the same calendar year. <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/cry.gif" alt="" />

So instead in November I'm going on a cruise through the Panama Canal with another SXM lover (is there an echo here?) and am then going to Sarasota for a few days to see if I still want to move there.

I have at least booked my flights via miles to SXM in June. Since Divi hopes to open in May, my fingers are crossed that I can stay at Divi in June.
