LeeLee,
If you scroll down a bit among the posts here, there is a whole thread devoted to the Ocean Club. It sounds like it’s history and since the rumors over the past year or two indicate the owners were trying to sell it, I wouldn’t be surprised if they took their insurance money, cleaned it up and sold the property outright. But that’s just more speculation on top of old rumors.....

LeeLee,
First of all, if the weather in your neighborhood is anything like we’re experiencing, this would be a great morning to roll over and go back to sleep.
But again, I really want to emphasize I’m speculating here based on all the old rumors i’ve Heard over the last few years, and I have no firsthand knowledge regarding this property. And this kind of speculation is generally not the norm for me......
The way things are going, what always was a fairly quiet corner of the island stands to become a lot quieter yet with the loss of the Summit, the unknown status of Ocean Club, the Med school being temporarily shut down, Starz in the state it’s in not to mention the damage to the Cliff, the Towers, the Cupecoy Beach Club, Rainbow and Sapphire. Sounds like Jordan Village properties are one of the last entities standing......or are they? I haven’t heard much about that area except that a few of the restaurants were reopening - Fat Tony’s, the Spaghetti House and Barcode just for starters. This is all so very heartbreaking.......

The Ocean Club was sold not too long ago to someone that we know very well; but can't say if he has insurance or not. I do hope so for his sake. But on the Island in general , a lot of restaurants has reopened.

I thought it had been sold recently. As someone else said though, the value there is in the land. I would not be surprised at all if someone did not rebuild and just took the money.

The current owner just recently bought it , hence it's will only be a gain for him if he has insurance and can rebuild. The past owner has the money in his pocket.
