Voyage has advised us our two late December charters can not be confirmed and suggested cancelation. We have been told deposits would be refunded, however there is no time frame for processing refunds. I have chartered with the Voyage family for many years and always found them to be good people. They are apparently in a horrible situation due to the hurricane destruction. My best wishes for their recovery and return to business.

Voyage only had maybe 6 boats out of their entire fleet that is salvageable unfortunately. Hit hard

I chartered over the years with them as well. My favorite charter Co. I'm wondering how many of the boats were theirs, and how many were privately held? Lots of liability either way.

All their boats were privately owned. I have seen pictures of 6 that appeared undamaged. However without a close look it can be hard to tell.

There were 9 boats in the yard, mostly 48's, that were sitting on their keels, but still upright. Galeaux, one of the 50's, suffered minimal damage at Paraquita Bay and is back at Sopers Hole.

I was lead to believe the problem is compounded by their docks also being destroyed.

I think that is the issue and I believe Voyaged leases the docks so they may not have control over a rebuild timeline.

The docks right in front of the office are indeed gone. The outer dock where Aristocat docks is still there and lots of docks are in place farther down around Pussers. Soper's in general is in bad shape with heavy building damage.

There are a couple of pics in my FB album from Tortola.
