Unreal.....cars inside houses and pools then filled with sand.

Cant help but think front end loaders, cranes and dump trucks being critical elements.

What happened to that whole lot of mini cars? Storm surge/rust or a total fire.

Someone said they were torched by looters when they were prevented from stealing gas. May or may not be the case. They have rusted a lot since we drove by them the first Sunday.

We stayed at Nettle Bay Beach Club on our honeymoon in July. Their pools (4 of them) won't be able to be saved as they were lined pools and they won't be able to dig them out without damaging the lining. A shame of the damage suffered there. It wouldn't surprise me if NBBC doesn't exist after the reconstruction as almost everything will have to be rebuilt completely. Dreams next door is not going to rebuild. Some corporation will probably swoop in and by a nice big stretch of beach.

Just guesses and conjecture, of course. I hope they come back because it was a great,. cost effective place to stay. Not a great beach but Baie Rouge and Cupecoy were only minutes away and you didn't have to drive through Marigot to get to them.

even if this had been the united states...there is no way this can be repaired in a year...or two years
