Well, the first full, clear photo of the place we lived in for some years. Whew, she seems to have put up a good fight.... but, virtually nobody's place survived intact, including our's. The walls remain, but, sadly - it appears little else
Though we can all feel the pain of the people on the ground, it certainly cuts that much deeper, when you see the remains, of the place you once DID fondly call home
After viewing all the photos, the infrastructure devastation leaves me to wonder how, some of these homes and businesses will ever recover to any state of normalcy. The rebuilding of homes, and removal of debris is monumental! When are basic tools and supplies going to arrive? And who will get first pick ?
