Breakfast croissants from Bon Appetit: almond, plain and ham and cheese. Scooped up hubby and drove through the puddles, pot holes and maniacal drivers (mostly tourists)to Orient. Finally the sun came out – that is not to say there were no clouds, but we chose to look at the blue segments. The waves were gently rolling – as opposed to crashing (Mullet, Cupecoy and even Grand Case, where the new plastic docks had broken apart in the waves last night.) and the water was surprisingly clear. We found Cybershark and his lovely wife, thanks to the TTOL flag. Also met Ken and his wife and the irrepressible Harry –lately of Cupecoy. Although we looked at Orange Fever for Fabila- we learned she had gone all the way to the end of the beach – Palm Court. So Louise – tomorrow, Wednesday, OB – we’ll be near Scott and Linda and the TTOL flag. We stayed on the beach until after 5pm. It was an altogether beautiful day.
Fabulous Mussels in creole white sauce at Chez Leandra,. 4 sodas and Steve’s usual cheeseburger $32. The mussels could easily have been shared, I brought half home for tasty treats. Dinner was at Sky’s the Limit ,steak salad corn and ribs salad corn, 2 sodas $22. Then to the new Gelaterie next to the Stone restaurant on Pelican Marina for mango and peach gelato. I’m hooked!
