Still having a fabulous trip. Thurs nite dinner at Yvettes. Would have never gone here had it not been for TTOL folks recommendations. Excellent food and service…I had Conch with dumplings which was superb. Prices very reasonable. Afterwards, went looking for a bar showing the Ravens/Falcons game. Nowhere to be found! Just as well, Ravens blew the game, so would have ruined an otherwise delightful evening.
Friday, breakfast at Oasis (formerly Le Frigate?) Very good vegetarian omelets. Spent the day on Dawn Beach near Busby’s, cloudy morning, but beautiful sunshine all afternoon. Highlight of the day, dinner at Big Fish. Resisted the temptation to try the Ostrich or Alligator instead had the sea bass in Creole Pernod sauce, Mrs had sea bass with lobster sauce, both EXCELLENT.
Tomorrow is moving day, leaving Princess Heights and heading for LaVista. This was our first stay in Oyster Pond, and enjoyed it. But WHY CAN’T THEY FIX THE POTHOLES?
