Our electric is not back yet, but a friend's electric came back on and she gave us her generator. We just started it and it's not acting great, but hopefully will start running better here shortly. ATT cell service is back here in town, so hopefully will be able to get on from now on. No idea how much longer it will be before we have electric, as the Duke Energy update is still saying Sunday.

We will try to do some reading today, (as well as getting some sleep, I hope!) and then will get caught up with what is going on.

As of now, we are not able to respond to requests for password resets or to register new members. Sorry. I know there is a huge backlog of those requests.

Thanks more than I can say to JD and Pat for trying to keep things under control here while we were 'occupied'. We would truly be lost without JD's help.

Be kind to one another, people.

Yeah, I guess. Generator is NOT running well at all at the moment. Not sure whether it will keep going or not. It was running fine till we turned it off and refilled it and then it started pouring rain and not good since then. It's technically under an awning but still getting lots of water around..

I saw an online report that said that 80% of the lost power in Florida has been restored, so I can only assume you'll have it back soon.

We actually heard this evening about an hour ago, that some people here in town finally have power back, so we are HOPING that it will be back online here at home by tomorrow. Our office is in town, so if we get power back at the office, we can move over there for a couple of days. Sounds like maybe the office should be back on tomorrow regardless. I hope..

We still have power issues in Miami.
And no traffic lights on a stretch of US 1.
Everyone here failed the 4 way stop part of their driving test!!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm not sure if everyone is back online here yet or not. A big bunch of people around here did not get power back until Tuesday, which was 9 days after the hurricane. I have not seen any traffic lights still out though, fortunately.
