Has anyone seen Pierre from Pineapple Pete since the Hurricane? Carol included his restaurant in the Compiled Damage report (awning down but not too bad)and I have since done another search of TTOL but I haven't seen his name mentioned as being alright.
Has anyone seen Pierre Ferland?

Is there no word at all? I know some communication is coming from St Maarten...
Has anyone seen Pierre Ferland from Pineapple Pete since Irma went through? Any info would be greatly appreciated.

If there was any word it would be posted. I personally spent a lot of time looking at many sites last night and found nothing. When someone knows something they will post it.
Many islanders ran out of cell minutes but should be getting more soon according to what the companies are saying. If you have a personal number for Pierre you could try calling him.
I know everyone is anxious but please allow for some patience when it comes to getting accurate information.
I have noticed a couple of my local island friends have posted on facebook today so the flow of outbound information seems to be increasing.
Please do not "bump" a thread just for the sake of bumping it.

My dear Ruralcarrier,
I was not "bumping" this thread. Like many people who are watching from afar we are frantic for any news of our friends. I thank you from the bottom of my heart for all you, Carol and Eric are doing to keep us informed but my post was a simple inquiry this morning. I know emotions are running high but please don't accuse me of something I did not do. I only reached out again to see if anyone had a little more information.

Replying to your own post essentially "bumps" it back to the top.
Like I said, I personally spent a lot of time looking for information on Pierre last night and found nothing other than a picture of the front of the restaurant. Had I found something, I would have posted it.
Carol and Eric have been offline for several days now. I spent 14-16 hours yesterday trying to watch over things here and deal with multiple situations. Trust me, as much as I like SXM and TTOL, it was not fun.
