Roof gone, windows blew out, Pella sliding doors blew out, Ram truck very damaged, kitchen gone, dining room gone... will post pics soon.

So all that damage to the house but no damage to the garage?

The east wing is good, was built a couple of years ago. It is a bunker!

Sounds like a fun time with your insurance company. Can only hope that this doesn't become more standard in years to come. Our first trip to SXM was 1987, so besides Luis, this seems to be the only other really bad hurricane in those last 30 years. edit - kind of funny but I just noticed that martini registered here exactly one month after I did.

Sounds like not that good of news. It would be nice just to have a picture of our villa, neighbor on one side unscathed, neighbor on the other lost roof, etc. Our ClubO chalet actually fared the best of all of them but I'm not sure what that is going to get us...yet
