Any information about the condition of schools in the BVIs would be greatly appreciated. Students in my school district in California are gathering supplies to send to their peers in Houston. I've arranged for them to add BVI schools to their efforts. Basically, we gather necessary supplies and local business and donors pay to have them shipped. Unfortunately, state law prohibits us from simply raising the cash, so this is the best we can do (clothing, shoes, school supplies, etc).

I second this. I am the director of two schools in New York City- I am ready to start collecting supplies, anything needed - can anyone on the board help put me in touch with some in the school system that can receive items.
