Has anyone received reports on Cooper. They are not scheduled for reopening until 10/19. Hopefully they have prepared for the worst. I believe only management and staff live on the island.

I keep checking their website; hoping for an update. Nothing yet. It is my favorite place in the BVI. I am crossing my fingers they [somehow] are OK.

I'm very concerned about the elderly couple, Mr. & Mrs Leonard, that live on the back side of Cooper. I hope they were evacuated.

This was just posted to Facebook
A really brief update just in - Cooper staff on island are all safe, quite a lot of damage but buildings still standing. Still no regular communication but a huge sigh of relief. Thanks to everyone for your thoughts and will let you know more when we can #thankful #cooperfamily #cooperbvi #hurricaneirma
