All the restaurants from kontiki to Pedro's on Orient have been replaced. Pedro's has been spiffed up. They look really nice. Still a great place to be! <img src="http://www.traveltalkonline.com/forums/images/graemlins/Clapping.gif" alt="" />

People here have mentioned a couple of new reasonable places to eat near the university so if you have a car may check it out. Fig restaurant has closed. Cheri's has been sold.
New causeway from airport to Cole Bay and on to Marigot (left) and to P'burg (right turn) You can save time since you avoid the Simpson Bay Bridge openings.

JabJabs is a boat/bar anchored off the Royal Palm. They offer a free dinghy pick up on the beach to take you back and forth.

I think they were just getting going during Regatta. We did not check it out but I guess it would be a nice option to have a drink ON the water.
